Principal at JD Ortiz Unlimited, LLC (1989 - Present), consulted for various companies to management and coordinate high end residential and retail projects. Provide strategic sustainability consultation to reduce energy use, field verification, design, construction documents and field supervision.  3D/BIM Manager and coordination of the New York City Police Academy, LIC, NY and World Trade Center Complex; Tower 3, Vehicle Security Center, part of Tower 2, part of Tower 4 and part of the HUB.  

Project Manager at HAKS (2/2013 - Present), A/E On-Call services, management and coordination of over 270 projects for the NYC Department of Education $25 million and NYC School Construction Authority $90 Million from class room conversions, science labs, dance studios, recording studios, fitness rooms, playgrounds, sustainable courtyards.  Managed Construction Administration for River Terrace Apartments, NY, Courtyard and Canopy at main entry and repairs for the garage and crawl space $7.5 Million.  3D/BIM Manager and coordination for First Precinct, Nassau County, NY.  

Project Manager at Spector Group (6/2008-5/2009), managed and coordinated a variety of projects both corporate interior and commercial.  Provided cost effective energy efficient designs.

Senior Architect at SLCE Architects (1/2007-2/2008), managed design development through construction documents for high end, high rise, mixed use buildings including a LEED NC Silver project (2 million sq. ft.). Coordination of sustainability, structural, mechanical, electrical, plumbing and interior design.

CERETTI + associates (6/1998-12/2006), managed ZARA, Inditex, and several major high end accounts from conceptual design, design development, construction documents, and construction administration.  Setup and managed the office network and computer system. Organized, evaluted and intergrated computer programs, including AutoCAD, AccuRender, 3D Studio Max, Photoshop.

Consultant at IA, Interior Architects (6/2004-11/2004), managed the rehab of a residential building and coordinated a variety of tasks for corporate interiors including but not limited to planning, schematics and CD’s.
